We need VOLUNTEERS:
We have 3 committees that need volunteers; Setup Committee - helps event decor decision and setup & breakdown event decor.
Voting Committee - helps with interviewing & research of nominees.
Sponsorship Committee - helps with obtaining sponsors for the event.
Xcellence Awards 2025 was a successful event! We hope you don't miss it next year in December 2026! We will be honoring a new set of trail blazers! You can nominate individuals on the link below! In December 2025 we will choose the top 5 from each category and allow the community to vote again and honor the top 20 (1 from each category! The Xcellence Awards aims to spotlight positive contributions and empower the ongoing greatness within minority communities. This is a Carroll County wide event. Our mission is to host an impactful event that celebrates and honors minorities for their outstanding positive contributions to our community. Through recognition and appreciation, we strive to empower and inspire continued greatness within minority communities. This event serves as a beacon of acknowledgment, fostering unity and amplifying the diverse voices that shape a more vibrant and inclusive society.
For Xcellence Awards 2026, we need:

Food Sponsors. We need refreshments for 250-300 ppl. We offer incentives for all sponsors. See the sponsorship page
Performers. We need singers, dancers, poets, etc.
